T.H.S. (The Horne Section) "The Unreleased Album" BOOGIE FUNK REISSUE LP
Limited vinyl LP, featuring unreleased tracks from the tape archives of Henry Horne.
Thanks to "Boogie Times" Phil for such an insane discovery and for repressing some copies of a record most of us missed out on in 2016.
What we have here is Henry Horne's 1982 unreleased album "T.H.S". The Horne Section had only one single release "Lady Shine". There must be more jams from this band right? That's what Boogie Times thought, and tracked down Henry Horne and indeed there was a full unreleased album! Boogie Times licensed the recordings and the album finally dropped 30 years later on CD! In 2016 when Phil launched Saph Records, they revisited the tracks on a limited 200 copy vinyl release. Those 200 records barely made it to stores. The demand has been unreal, for the simple reason, once you hear it you have to have it. It's that real funk music, born out of the eighties, destined to be enjoyed for generations and beyond, we keep looking to the skies.
