DJ WEY "Song For Masahiro" DEEP HOUSE TECHNO 12"
The A Side "Song for Masahiro" is dedicated to Masahiro Ueda, a DJ and friend who graced the BK scene by way of Japan. It’s a bass heavy tune with melodic pads floating in the forefront amongst the occasional cheering sample. It's perfect for either opening or closing a set midsummer. In contrast, the B Side opens with "Flow On" with its distorted kicks, relentless claps and hypnotic bells one could imagine hearing it on a nightmarish carnival ride...fit that into a set. The record ends on an electro tip with spaced out pads, backwards samples and classic electro style drum patterns.
