But the master tape for “burnin’ part 2” and “burnin’ part 3” has rediscovered and both tracks are being released as a limited 7” for the first time ever on any format.

On the a-side, “burnin’ part 2” perfectly encapsulates Lamont and Belita’s musical partnership - one that dates back to the Brainstorm days - with Lamont’s confident bass groove and Belita’s smoldering multi-tracked vocals taking center stage.

Then on the b-side, “burnin’ part 3” finishes with a maximal funk cut. while lacking the clarity of its a-side, is a sweaty lost boogie classic even with its bit of true detroit grit.
